"Krum" by Hanoch Levin Chosen to Open a New Anthology of Israeli Plays in Russian Translation

A new anthology of contemporary Israeli plays in Russian translation, edited by Dina Godard, came out recently with the UFO publishing house. The comedy, "Krum", by Hanoch Levin, was selected to open the anthology, alongside works by Nisim Aloni, Yehoshua Sobol, Anat Gov, Edna Mazeh, and others.

“The issues that interest Israeli playwrights are also relevant to Russian society,” the publisher posted on their Facebook page. “The plays collected in this anthology are written by various playwrights in a variety of styles and subjects – from successful comedies to experimental dramas. They are interesting and intriguing, not only to be read but also to see performed on the Russian stage.
