A New English Translation of Hanoch Levin’s The Whore from Ohio by Ne’eman Tamuz

As part of a new translation project of Hanoch Levin’s works, Ne’eman Tamuz has translated Hanoch Levin’s The Whore from Ohio into British English. This is the third and final play in the project, which also included translations of Yaacobi and Leidental and Rubber Merchants. The new translation is available on the website.
The Whore from Ohio is a comedy originally written in 1978. It premiered at the Cameri Theatre in 1997, directed by Hanoch Levin. Acting in the production were Gabi Amrani, who played Heubitter, Rami Baruch in the role of Heumar, and Gita Montana playing the role of Brronatsatski.
