The play, newly translated by Naaman Tamuz and directed by Yonatan Esterkin, was first staged in the United States, at the Odyssey Theater in Los Angeles.

The production features Sarah Heywood-Rakhimova, Michael Redfield, and Ilia Volok, premiered on March 10. 2023 and continues its run through April 30. 2023.

Yaacobi and Lydenthal has been translated into German, French, Polish and Romanian (in addition to the English translation).
